Umbreon, the Moonlight Pokemon.When darkness falls,the rings on the body begin to glow, striking fear in the hearts of anyone nearby.When agitated, this Pokémon protects itself by spraying poisonous sweat from its pores .Umbreon evolved as a result of exposure to the moon's waves.It hides silently in darkness and waits for its foes to make a move.The rings on its body glow when it leaps to attack.

Strategy for using this Umbreon:

Ahhh..Umbreon, one of my very favorite Pokemon.Well the thing I like about Umbreon is that its HP, Defense and Special Defense is excellent, especially Special Defense.So it makes a very good Tank and Staller.The moveset I gave is for a Toxi-Staller.I usually use it as a last Pokemon.You can use it as an annoyer also, but to use a Pokémon like Umbreon as a annoyer requires good prediction skills.This moveset is simple enough to understand. It is a typical Mean-Toxi Staller.First use Mean Look, so the Pokémon can not escape.Then use Toxic. Now Protect and then Wish. It is a perfect Moveset for Umbreon and I have never found it difficult to pull. If you can get E.Vs like that, then, it can survive a Focus Punch with ease.In my opinion don't give Umbreon any Dark Type move. Why? Because it's Special Attack is way below average. Umbreon is a pre-made Tank. Synchronize will give Status to any Pokémon who will try to give Umbreon a Status.With 255( or closer) EVs in Special Defense will make it's Special Defense about 394!!.You may have noticed that Umbreon's offensive stats are not so good and mostly less than average.So don't give it a offensive move.You can however give it a alternative move than Wish.Like Confuse Ray/Taunt/Rest/Moonlight or if you really want a offensive move give it Body Slam or Return.Umbreon is a great Tank and if used correctly, then it can surely cause havoc in the battle.Umbreon, a Pokémon that truly can be relied on.

Strategy to use against Umbreon:

Notice that mostly all Umbreon carry Mean Look with Confuse Ray or Toxic.Also notice that Umbreon's Defenses are very high but the Psychical Defense is lower than it's Special one. So a good technique will be using Substitute as it will totally ruin Umbreon's chances of poisoning or confusing you and you can even do a Focus Punch that obliviously will do a lot of damage and with a Super-Effective hit.Mega Horn works A good example is Heracross with Substitute then Focus Punch or Mega Horn.Also Medichamp will be a good choice.
