Stats

Stats...the most important thing of a Pokémon.It is also separates a Pokémon from another Pokémon,even if they are of the same kind.Stats are basiclly the:

H.P
Attack
Defence
Speed
Special Attack
Special Defence

Each Stat has it own purpose and importance in a battle.I am going to discuss each of these in details:

H.P

H.P or Hit Points are a kind of a stamina of Pokémon.Till the H.P last the Pokémon last,if the H.P went to 0 or 0% the Pokémon faints.Each move that do damage,make the H.P lower.Some moves restore the H.P of a Pokémon (e.g.Rest).Items such Leftovers also restore H.P.If the H.P of all your Pokémon becomes 0,you lose the battle.The Pokémon with the Highest H.P is Blissey.

Attack

The Physical Powers of a Pokémon are it's Attack.This means that the Physical Moves depends on Attack.These are the Physical Moves' Types:
Normal,Flying,Fighting,Rock,Ghost,Steel,Ground,Bug,Poisin.The Higher the Attack Stat the more powerful the Attack type move.High Attacks can be countered by High Defense.Items like Protein raises Attack.Moves such as Swords Dance also raises Attack.The Pokémon with the highest Attack is Attack Deoxy and Non-Legendry:Slaking.

Defence

The Defence is....well....the...defence of a Pokémon.The Higher the Defence the Lower the Attack type moves will do damage to you.Items like Iron raises Defence of a Pokémon.Moves as Acid Armour also raises Defence.The Pokémon with highest Defence is Defence Deoxy and Non-Legendry: Shuckle.

Speed

Speed..(don't tell me you don.t know what it is..) is the stat that makes your Pokémon move faster than other Pokémon.Speed is consider as one of the *MOST* Important factors of a Pokémon Battle.Speed also make a move miss.Items like Carbos raise Speed of a Pokémon.Moves such as Agility raises Speed.The Pokémon with highest Speed is Speed Deoxy and Non-Legendry: Ninjask.

Special Attack

The Special Powers of a Pokémon are it's Special Attack.It is like Attack but with a difference the Special Moves depends on Special Attack.These are the Special Moves' Types:
Fire,Water,Electric,Ice,Grass,Dark,Psychic,Dragon.The Higher The Special Attack stat the more powerful the Special Attack type move.High Special Attacks can be countered by High Special Defence.Items like Petaya Berries raises Special Attack.Moves such as Calm Mind also raises Special Attack.The Pokémon with the highest Attack is Attack Deoxy and Mewtwo.

Special Defence

The Special Defence is almost the same thing as Defence except it lowers Special Attacks not Physical Attacks.The Higher the Special Defence the Lower the Special Attack type moves will do damage to you.Items like Zinc raises Special Defence of a Pokémon.Moves as Calm Mind also raises Special Defence.The Pokémon with highest Special Defence is Defence Deoxy and Non-Legendry: Shuckle.
