HISTORICAL HIGHLIGHTS

      Philippine College of Science and Technology traces its origin when the city of Dagupan was devastated by a very powerful earthquake in 1990.leading educational institution were not spared causing traumas and fears among parents and students.

      It was from here that Mrs. Lourdes S. Fernandez, College President, envisioned the need to put up a school outside the city and with the strong influenced by former President Fidel V. Ramos when he timely launched a program “Philippines 2000” making our country a highly industrialized by the turn of century.

     Eventually, a four-story school building was established in 1994 named Philippine College of Science and Technology with 800 freshmen pioneer students. The school has been certified ISO 9001:2000 by AJA Registrars in the world of Academe and has been fully acknowledge by the CHED and TESDA. This significantly marked a big record of making PhilCST the first ISO certified school in the entire Region 1. At  present, the school continues to move towards the right direction marked by its progress and expansion with almost 10000 students.
