STUDENT ACTIVITIES
A. GENERAL POLICIES
No Department/Student Organization shall be allowed to function without
prior approval by the school administration or the Dean of Student Affairs.
B. CONSTITUTION AND BY-LAWS
Each student organization shall be a constitution and by-laws which shall be
Approved by the Office of V-P for Academic or Dean of Student Affairs.
C. FACULTY ADVISER.
Each student organization must have a faculty adviser, who is employed on
A full-time basis in the college.
D. ELECTION OF OFFICERS
The election of each student organization shall be elected by the members
thereof, provided, however, the election shall be under the supervision of,
and subject to regulation by, assigned faculty adviser.
E. POSTINGS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
1. All posting/announcements on campus require APPROVAL STAMP of
the Registrar’s and /or Office of the V-P Academic Affairs.
2. The standard duration for all posting/announcements is one week before
the activity. The sponsoring organization is responsible for the removal of posting one day after the activity.
3. Posting/announcement must be placed only on prescribed areas and
bulletin boards on campus. Painted walls, windows doors, cannot be used for posting unless there is approval. Posting placed in prohibited areas will be removed and the organization concerned will forfeit the privilege for further postings.
F. GUIDELINES IN THE CONDUCT OF STUDENT ACTIVITIES
1. All activities of student/department organization and classes should be
duly Approved by the Office of V-P for Academic Affairs.
2. Fund – Raising Activities: the following should be complied;
1. Sale of tickets, solicitation of funds or merchandise from in/off campus or business firms require special permission from the Office of the Registrar of Executive Vice-President.
2. Authorized student should issue official receipts to clients by the organization and be held accounted for.
3. Net income may go directly to the organization.
4. All of the organization officers shall be held responsible for any mishandling, misappropriation and embezzlement of activity fund.
5. The accounting office will initially audit statement.
G. SANCTIONS:
Without prejudice to the sanctions indicated in the Code of Discipline, the
Office concerned can give appropriate sanctions to individuals and organizations
who in one way or the other has violated any of the above provisions.
