COLLEGE LIBRARIES
The PhilCST Libraries consist of 13 sections, each amply stacked with the latest books in the field and housed in comfortable well-lighted and well-ventilated rooms. The libraries are open from 8:00 am – 5:00 p.m. without noon break during school days.
COLLEGE STORE
Teaching and learning aids, school supplies and examination booklets are available at the college store. Student guides manuals or pamphlets may also be available for sale.
GUIDANCE CENTER
The College has a guidance and counseling center witch helps the student has a guidance and counseling center which helps the students and other members of the academic community in their difficulties. The information placement, evaluation and counseling services all endeavor to assist the individual in making proper adjustments to attain maximum self development. Group guidance sessions are organized for students having academic difficulties by helping them develop better study habits and attitudes. The testing center takes care of psychological assessment and evaluation in order to assist the students to arrive at a better self- insight. The College Psychological Extension Services assist a number of outlying high schools in their guidance needs.
MEDICAL AND DENTAL CLINICS AND HEALTH FACILITIES
Medical and dental inspection are done at the Medical and Dental clinics and when necessary first aid is administered. Common medicines are available. Ordinary laboratory examinations are performed.
STUDENT CANTEEN
Canteens are available on the College campus to serve snack and meal needs of the academic community.
SPEECH CLINICS
Well-equipped speech laboratories which are well-equipped afford the students that much needed practicum of their theoretical courses.
LABORATORIES, SHOPS, EQUIPMENTS/INSTRUMENTS
Shops and laboratories which ere well-equipped afford the students the much needed practicum of their theoretical courses.
SOCIAL-CONFERENCE-WORKSHOP HALLS AND GYMNASIA
Facilities for big or small group activities are available on a first-come-first served basis with the necessary sound and light arrangements.
TELEPHONE SERVICES
The students and members of the academic community have access to pay phones available on campus.
SECURITY SERVICES
A security force is maintained on the campus to ensure maximum safety and security of the academic community.
REPORT TO PARENT/GUARDIANS
The Student Affair Office writes the parent/guardian of student who have incurred the number of absences midway the allowable.
Number of absences and/or who have been put under disciplinary sanction. When deemed advisable and necessary, the Student Affairs Office may contract parents or guardians for conferences or consultation with them regarding the academic or behavioral conduct of their children. PhilCST encourages parents to visit the school any time to inquire into the attendance, behavior or academic progress of their children. Parents wish to have a copy of their children’s final grades may request personally or in writing from the Registrar’s Office.
