Bio: Tails, born with the defect of having two tails, first appeared in sonic 2, as a sidekick, at which time he was cast as (or there are rumours of him) being cast as a female. These are refuted in latter games where he is defiantly as a boy, although his voice still sounds like a girls.
Abilities include flying (sonic 2 onwards), spinning his twin tails to keep up with sonic (sonic 2 onwards), and thunder shoot (sonic heroes).
Tails has great skills as a mechanic, fixing the tornado when he first meets sonic, and latter moving onto the Tornado II with a chaos emerald as a power source (sonic adventure). Latter on (SA2) Tails uses the Cyclone, a further advancement of the tornado able to fly, walk, and be used as a car.
Initially starting out as a sidekick to sonic, Tails has started to forge his own path as a mechanic and a saviour (saves station square in SA). Who knows what will happens to this character in the future with any luck Sega will give him a voice that doesnt sound like a 2 year old, or even he may get a second attempt at solo games.
