MAY,
2006
Hi
everyone!!
First, I just wanted to remind everyone that it is wrong to eat your co-worker.
Second, there are many links on this page. Click on pictures and other things to get you to other websites and where you want to go.
Yeah, yeah, go ahead and laugh.![]()
I pulled a rib by
changing my nylons behind the wheel. It’s a good thing that the car wasn’t
moving when my back went into contractions. I also had an ultrasound done on my left shoulder.
I'll keep that one to myself. I have two tears in my shoulder and in four weeks if my arm’s
still not working right--surgery.
I receive a procedure called G5 on my back and my shoulder (It’s like this huge vibrator
thingy) and I’ve been doin’ it now 3 times a week. My nose has
been really itchy and tonight, my lips feel numb. I guess that means G5 is
working.

Nicki’s shoes, Heelys, $64 from Sports Authority, (they have the wheels on the bottom,) have been missing for a month and I finally found them last night in his bedroom. Thanks to Josslyn Christmas for praying with me and Sharon Bossard who sent me some luck of the Irish.
FIRST
COMMUNION & GRADUATIONNicki
will be making his first communion this weekend. He’s looking forward
to the
wine. Matthew will be graduating pre-school on May 24th. He’s
looking forward to the all-you-can eat sweets. Congratulations to them both!!
Matthew just turned 5, and celebrated at Chuck-‘E’-Cheese with 10 of his friends.
My
Mom and Dad’s 35th Wedding Anniversary Celebration is coming up on
July 30. Again, save the date. Invitations will be arriving soon!!
Summer is almost here
and I can’t wait until next month for AuthorFest, 2006 in Schaumburg. Mark the
date on your calendar, on your fridge, under your armpit, everywhere. June 24,
2006. This event is open to both local and out-of-state authors, big, small,
self-published and e-book authors. Last year 40 authors attended. The public
is invited to attend. The event will be held at: Schaumburg Township
District Library, 130 South Roselle Road, Schaumburg, IL 60193. Please come and
visit me. I’ll be on the romance panel from 11:30 – 12:15 with Sheila Peele-Miller
and Avon Romance Authors Melody Thomas and Jenna Peterson. Then, I will be
selling Falling Roses from 1:00-2:00. I’ll be giving away calendars, new
business cards, as well as autographed bookmarks. So far, I’ve had a chance to
communicate with many of the authors and they all seem to be absolutely
wonderful!!
Writersfest, 2007 is already underway and I’ll be there on Saturday, April 21, 2007 from 1:00-3:30 at the Indian Trails Public Library (Large Meeting Room on 1st Floor), 355 South Schoenbeck Road, Wheeling, Illinois 60090 Here's the Link to Michelle Ailenw True's website. WriterFest 2007 Participating Authors

The Authors Marketing Group is keeping me busy with its website. I absolutely love talking with the different authors and putting their pages together on the Authors Tab. It’s a lot of hard work, but somebody’s got to do it. And I’m glad that someone is me.
The next meeting of the Authors Marketing Group is to be held on Tuesday, May 23 at the Woodridge Public Library at 6:45 PM.

Some new things are up on the Falling Roses website. I’ve added a little poetry in the Unedited Chapters section and I’ve added the Guest Book for viewing to the home page. I add things and change things constantly and can’t keep up with everything I do, so please check back often throughout the month. I’ve even changed by bio.
Please NOTE: Website traffic has been heavy. Since this is a free site when many people are on it you may not be able to get in. There's this thing called bandwidth too. Please be patient and try back later. Thank you.
However, did you know that you could also get to the home page by putting in www.geocities.com/rosemariepiemonte?
FALLING
ROSES: THE YEARS BETWEEN
Everyone keeps asking me when the sequel is coming. And, this week it sure is coming. So far, I have 250 pages. Everyone is back (well, except for Bernadette) Gabrielle, John, J.J., Mick, Felecia, Jeffrey and Roxy, Jackie and Robbie. There’s love scenes back-to-back. There’s boats exploding. A new character Michael is introduced. One of Bernadette’s sisters (Elizabeth Malone) comes to visit and Maureen Malone may make a cameo appearance as well. There’s a lot of twists and turns. What will happen to Gabrielle next? And what will her daughter Jackie do, to keep her mother alive?
(Tentative date to be
released: Summer, 2007)
Full
Scoop by Janet Evanovich and Charlotte Hughes
I’ve never read
any of Janet’s books and someone told me that I have a similar writing style
as she. I absolutely loved this book and even began to read it a second time.
Fleas, the hound dog is in love with Butterbean a goat. There’s a lot of
Elvis’s walking around and Maggie’s jailbird ex-boyfriend wants his $250,000
he left in her hope chest. FBI agent Zack comes to protect her and it’s more
of a comedy with a little romance. There’s also Better than Sex chocolate ice
cream that the characters eat every once in a while.
Finding My Irish by Sharon Shea Bossard
Join
the author and her husband as they journey through the towns of Cahersiveen,
Ballinskelligs, Valentia, and Boyle in their relentless pursuit of family.
Accompany them into the old cottages for conversations rich in folklore and
truths. Follow in the footsteps of the author’s grandparents from Ireland to
Connecticut and to the cowboy town of South Omaha in the late 1800s. Travel to
the more modern city of Chicago at the turn of the century. Experience their
lives first-hand—celebrate their joy and share in their sorrows. Guaranteed to
capture your spirit and challenge your emotions, this 304-page book titled
Finding My Irish will delight and hopefully inspire you to search for your
Irish. An incredibly touching family story; you won’t be able to put it down.
I couldn't put the book down!! An absolutely amazing story from a fabulous author!!
